Roger Clemens Comes Out Of Retirement To Pitch For The Sugar Land Skeeters

The Rocket, Roger Clemens, is reportedly coming out of retirement to pitch for the Sugar Land Skeeters. As a proud sponsor of the team we at Finnegan Auto Group are excited to break the news to our surrounding communities! He is reported to be joining the team this Friday night and is expected to make his first start for the Skeeters this Saturday!

Clemens, who has not pitched competitively since the 2007 postseason, is 50 years old and reportedly hit 87 mph on the radar gun for a workout with the Skeeters – according to Fox 26.

Could this be a stepping stone for a full comeback to Major League baseball? That is yet to be determined. Needless to say, as we continue to be proud sponsors of our Houston area Minor League Baseball franchise – Finnegan Auto Group will keep you in the know!
