2016 Camaro Fast Approaching

The brand new 2016 Chevy Camaro is set to hit showroom floors in early 2016. While we don’t know its specific release date, we do know quite a few specific details surrounding Chevy’s latest road toy.

Chevy is quite confident consumers are going to love the new 2016 Camaro, and so are we, which is why Chevy is intentionally pitting the Camaro against Ford’s soon-to-be released Mustang. The new Camaro will better in every way compared to the previous generation. That means an upgraded interior, new engine, more aggressive styling, and an all new platform.

We know the new 2016 Camaro will start at around $25,000 MSRP for the base model, which is definitely affordable, especially when you compare it to the competition in the Ford Mustang and new GT86 from Toyota.

The Camaro’s engine is seeing a mix of old and new on a model-to-model basis compared to previous generations. Three engine options will be available – a 275 horsepower 2.0 liter turbo four, 335 horsepower 3.6 liter V6, and a high-end model 455 horsepower 6.2 liter V8. It’s also notable that they only rollover parts from the last generation will be the Chevy bowtie, and the SS badge, which after all of the dimension changes, new parts, and new styling are tallied up – makes this new beast almost 200 lbs lighter. Definitely a welcome change.

When the new Camaro drops in 2016, we invite all of you to come and see this amazing new machine for yourselves at Finnegan Chevy in Rosenberg, TX.
